Measures to Prevent Spread of COVID-19 / Updated: 15th July

■To Hotel Guests

This hotel is located at a high altitude of 2,450m, where the atmospheric pressure is only ¾ of the atmospheric pressure at sea level, which may cause altitude sickness. The symptoms of altitude sickness, which are headaches, vertigo, and nausea, are somewhat similar to the initial symptoms of COVID-19. We kindly ask those who are not feeling well or have underlying illnesses such as heart disease or respiratory disease to refrain from visiting our facility. As it will put your respiratory functions under a lot of stress, the risk of aggravating your condition is high. Furthermore, we do not have any doctors or ambulance on standby, so please be aware that it will be difficult to provide any emergency medical care or ambulance services.

・Guests staying at Hotel Tateyama will be required during check-in to allow temperature scans by a non-contact thermometer, and answer questions about their health condition and their route to the hotel.
