Murodo Terminal is the highest alpine route facility of its kind, located 2,450 meters above sea level.

It features the biggest stores, restaurants, cafes, and other businesses on the alpine route, and is also the home of the Tateyama Mountain Top Branch Post Office and the Murodo Tourist Information Center.The entrance to the famous "Yuki-no-otani" Snow Corridor is located in Murodo Station on the first floor, while the entrance to Murodo-daira and Mt. Tateyama & Oyama is located on the rooftop viewing platform, where you can also meet up with fellow mountain climbers.Hotel Tateyama is adjacent to the terminal, and its front desk is accessible from the second floor. You can reach the Tateyama Nature Conservation Center from the first floor of the terminal.
