Hotel Tateyama ceased operations on August 31, 2026. Since our opening
in 1972, we have been honored to welcome many guests, and we would like
to express our heartfelt gratitude for your patronage over the years.
Throughout our history spanning more than half a century, our hotel has
grown alongside the majestic natural beauty of Mount Tateyama, supported
by the fond memories of our many guests. We are deeply grateful for your
kindness and support over the years.
Our gift shop, restaurant, and other facilities remain open, and we look
forward to welcoming you to enjoy the natural beauty of Mount Tateyama.

The Magic of Hotel Tateyama
Murodo, located at the highest point of the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route, is the most popular scene for sightseeing and mountain climbing.
From Murodo-daira, you can set off for the three 3000-meter tall Mt. Tateyama peaks, Mt. Tsurugi, the Dainichi Mountain Range, as well as a variety of great places for walking, such as Mikurigaike and Jigokudani.
